Our AC Motor rewind process
There’s no mystery here. Just precision engineering and a system that works:
- Full strip & inspection – We start with a complete mechanical and electrical diagnosis.
- On-site or off-site – Can’t remove the motor? Our engineers can come to you.
- Winding tests – We check earth resistance and insulation integrity.
- Clean & prep – The stator core is cleaned and re-insulated for the new wind.
- Rewind with precision – We hand-wind coils using high-grade enamelled copper to the original spec.
- Secure & seal – Coils are slotted, connected, tested again, then vacuum-impregnated with insulating varnish.
- Bake & build – Windings are stoved, cured, then rebuilt with new bearings, seals, and gaskets.
- Balance & final test – The rotor is dynamically balanced, and the full assembly is tested under load in our test facility.
